Final shows in January

After 25 years in action, Adelaide live music venue HQ has announced it will be torn down in January.

The North Terrace complex was put up for sale in 2015, with general manager Stephen Rose telling theMusic.com.au it has now been sold to developers who will tear down 90% of the building, leaving only the corner heritage block.

The last official night of trade will be January 28, 2017 with tickets for their farewell Last Night event on sale now through Oztix.

HQ frequently hosts local, national and international artists, with Steel Panther, Fear Factory and more taking to its stage this past month.
