Who wouldn't want to see Molly interview Humpty Dumpty?

Earlier this year it was revealed that acts including Bernard Fanning and Dan Sultan will appear on an upcoming episode of ABC's iconic children's program Play School and now it has been announced that the musicians are just two of a number of personalities who will appear in episodes next month to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary.

The series, entitled Play School Celebrity Covers, will see an Australian musician  perform on the show or personality try their hand at reading a story on each episode.

Whether you want to see Molly Meldrum interview Humpty Dumpty, Hamish Blake hang out on the beach with Little Ted, Tim Minchin enjoy story time with Jemima or You Am I turn the Play School set into their own rock show, the exclusive series ensures that toddlers won't be the only ones watching next month.
