Parkway Drive Launch Competition To Name Their Upcoming Tour

Beloved Aussie heavyweights Parkway Drive are itching to get back on the road after some massively successful live runs in 2015 but, before they unveil their full plans for an all-ages east coast regional tour in June-July, the band are turning to their fans to get some help naming this bad boy.

Following in the footsteps of acts like Violent Soho, who crowdsourced title suggestions for their recently released album WACO, Parkway Drive want you, their fans, to submit your tour name ideas via Instagram by sharing the picture below (click for full-size) with your tour name entry in the post description and — this is important — using the hashtag #nameparkwaystour.

Don't worry, Parkway aren't asking something of you without promising something in return — in this case, the winning entry will score themselves two tickets to the show of their choice on the upcoming tour, as well as a meet-and-greet with the band themselves and a merch pack to boot.

Entries for the #nameparkwaystour competition are already coming in, with early contenders on Instagram including: the Dedicated Tour, Apocalypse Of Mayhem, The 'Your Choice' Tour, The BBQs & Breakdowns Tour, Parkway's Next Generation Of Mosh, The Surfer Sides Tour, The Sunset Tour, Home Away From Home Tour, Tour Dates On The Wall, The Sound Of Violence & Parkway, Ire Me Hearty: The Pirate Drive Tour, Parkway & Chill, A Light In The Dark Tour, The Long Way Home Tour, Byron Bay Botulism Bonanza, Unbreakable Tour, Your Way Or The Parkway Tour, The Deathless Tour, Parking Coast To Coast Tour and The Wheels & Wheels tour.

The competition closes on Wednesday 6 April, with the winner being announced alongside the full spread of tour details on Friday 8 April.
