Badlands Bar is coming.

A year after closing its doors, beloved WA live music venue and hangout Devilles Pad has announced it will reopen to live music under the name Badlands Bar in the coming months following renovations.

The revered space opened for one night only last week to host a secret show for Arizona-based Tex-Mex band Calexico, giving a handful of punters a chance to check out the exciting transformation and venue operators an opportunity to test out a new sound system.

The revamped space features a bigger stage, new PA system and will also see a new green room built, with a focus on live music and touring acts.

Last year saw a number of venue’s close their doors in WA, with fan favourite The Bakery also wrapping up trade around the same time Devilles Pad.
