The festival returns over October long weekend

Adelaide's popular Semaphore Music Festival will celebrate its 11th birthday this year, kicking off over the Labour Day October long weekend.

The renowned three day festival pretty much caters to all musical tastes - country, indie-rock, jazz and blues, rockabilly and folk music performed by a star-studded collection of over 50 South Australian and interstate acts.

The stunning line-up is set to include ARIA award winner Matt Walker's latest band Lost Ragas, the unique blend of blues and soul from The Lachy Doley Group, guitar maestro Cal Williams Jnr, Australian rockabilly royalty The Satellites and Adelaide's own rockabilly champions East Texas, just to name a few.

Local music has always been encouraged at the Semaphore Music Festival through the acclaimed APRA Semaphore Songs Project, who this year welcomes The Baker Suite's John Baker to lead the project in 2015. He will be joined by South Australia's most notable singer/songwriters, including the star of the Channels 9's The VoiceZaachariaha Fielding, and veteran performer Vonda Last.
