The rave maestro released his most famous track, 'Infinity' in the '90s
'90s rave musician Guru Josh, real name Paul Walden, has passed away at the age of 51.
His agent Sharron Elkabas confirmed to The Guardian that Walden had died in Ibiza on Monday, 28 December, but the cause of death has not been revealed.
Walden experienced success in the early '90s as the rave and post-acid house scenes engulfed Britain, his biggest hit to date being Infinity.
In later years, Walden explored working with 3D glass art, running his own promotions company and the Guru Josh Project with Anders Nyman and Darren Bailie.

A number of people have paid tribute to Walden's passing coming at the same time as Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister and The Specials' John Bradbury, many noting the men's legacies in three very different genres of music. Easybeats frontman Stevie Wright also passed away in recent days.
3 completely different musical artists died today. Lemmy, Brad & Guru Josh. Thanks for the music all of you. And my drum lesson Brad. RIP

Lemmy, Brad and Guru Josh have all passed away today. If not one of them has meant something to you musically over the years then forget it.
