Eagles Of Death Metal Return To Bataclan Hall For The First Time Since Paris Terror Attacks

Members of Eagles Of Death Metal have returned to Paris' Bataclan Hall on Tuesday for the very first time since the venue came under attack during their concert just under a month ago, where 89 people were gunned down in the horrific siege.

According to New York Times, the band reportedly spent around ten minutes outside of the venue, where they paid their respects to the lives lost by laying down flowers and reading tributes.

Frontman Jesse Hughes declined to make a comment to the massive crowd that were in attendance as he silently walked around the memorial site. 

On Monday evening EODM performed for the first time since the Bataclan siege, where they joined U2 on stage during their concert in front of 20,000 people at the AccorHotels Arena in the French capital. 

In a Facebook statement posted shortly after the concert, EODM confirmed they will recommence their European tour in February after it was postponed following the terror attacks. 

It is yet to be announced if the band will perform at the Bataclan in 2016, however in an interview just a few weeks ago with Vice, Hughes not only stated his desire to return to Paris, but to be the first band who perform at the venue when it re-opens. 

"I want to be the first band to play in the Bataclan when it opens back up because I was there when it went silent for a minute," Hughes said.

"Our friends went there to see rock'n'roll and died. I'm going to go back there and live."
