UK acid jazz pioneers The Brand New Heavies will play a string of exciting shows at two of Australia's breathtaking new open air venues — Yarra Valley Estate and Calais Estate.

Set to be unveiled for the first time in the summer of 2016, these modern live venues are situated in the heart of renowned Australian wine growing areas in the Hunter and Yarra regions. The introduction of these venues will create a fresh alternative to the existing vineyard live venues in the regions.

The Brand New Heavies are no strangers to Australian shores. The London based quartet have made a number of trips down under since making their live debut here in 2010. Enjoying a lengthy career that has spanned 30 years, the band has proved that they show no signs of slowing down through the release of their latest studio album, Forward.

The group have also notched up an impressive 200 million album sales and a number of top 40 singles over the course of their career, including hits tracks Dream On Dreamer and You’ve Got A Friend. The group will be accompanied by former lead singer N’Dea Davenport who will rejoin the band for the Australian dates.

The spectacle will commence on 20 February at Yarra Valley Estate in Victoria and will finish up on 21 February at Calais Estate in New South Wales. Be sure to check out theGuide for more details.
