Cat Power Announces A Solo Theatre-Only Tour

Atlanta-born and -bred Chan Marshall, thought she goes by Cat Power, has announced a set of intimate solo performances next February, where she'll showcase a smorgasbord of new material as well as some of her older, tried-and-tested tunes. 

No stranger to Australia, Marshall has been Down Under for numerous festivals like Golden Plains, Meredith, Sydney Festival and MONA FOMA; this time she's sneaking in a visit before she heads back into the studio to record her new album.

She'll be heading first to Sydney's City Recital Hall on Friday, 5 February, before performing in Adelaide, two shows in Melbourne, Bendigo, Brisbane and finally Lismore on Saturday, 13 February.
