Miss Newtopia Launch At Newtown Festival

The launch of Miss Newtopia at this year's Newtown Festival is hoping to show the world what modern day pagents should look like.

They're looking for Newtown people who display substance and a unique style and are passionate about being an ambassador for Newtown. 

Anyone can apply - whatever your gender, whatever your age, whatever your style... the only criteria is that you must have a dream for Newtopia and be willing to share it. Contestants will need to bring their unique style to the stage and to tell the community what cause or vision they are passionate about for Newtown.

They will have the opportunity to soapbox and gather votes online at the Miss Newtopia webpage and in person at Newtown Festival on 8 November.
