Another impressive feat for the songwriter.
He's currently overseas performing in stadiums as the support act for Taylor Swift on her world tour, but back home Vance Joy is still killing it with today's announcement that the Melbourne singer's debut album Dream Your Life Away has been certified platinum.
After being released just over a year ago to the day, Joy's record has officially cracked over 70,000 sales and if that wasn't enough, his latest single Fire & The Flood has been certified Gold, raking in over 35,000 sales after taking out the #6 spot on the ARIA Charts.
The impressive milestone sees the indie artist joining an elite list of Aussie musicians who have also been awarded platinum status, which includes Chet Faker's Built On Glass and Sia's acclaimed album, 1000 Forms Of Fear.
Meanwhile, Fire & The Flood has also taken out the top spot on the National Airplay Chart and is currently the #1 most added song at AAA (alternative radio).
