Their first release will be Koomurri's 'Yuin People' on 17 Sept

Remember the name of Deadly Records, because they're an Australian Aboriginal owned/operated record label, working to release indigenous music to the world.

Launching this month, Deadly Records' first release will be the Koomurri entertainment group's Yuin People album, the first of four albums to be released through the label monthly for the rest of the year.

You may have seen the work and music of Koomurri in Sydney's Circular Quay or other bustling tourist attractions, with the group having performed over 30 years. Their first release will be performed by Russell Dawson on didgeridoo and sung by Cecil McLeod — a set of traditional songs from the South Coast of NSW's First Nations' peoples.

All releases through Deadly will be available on CD or digital download — you can check out their online store here.
