Hear the second taste of the esteemed Melbourne act's forthcoming record 'No One Deserves You'

More Crayon Fields More Crayon Fields

Melburnian quartet Crayon Fields have spent the past 14 or so years asserting themselves as purveyors of gloriously ebullient, ethereal pop tunes, and newest slice Love Won't Save You isn't about to upset that apple cart as the band move towards the release of impending full-length No One Deserves You.

It's been a hot minute since we last saw an album from Crayon Fields — their last was 2009's seminal All The Pleasures Of The World — but the group have lost none of the momentum that drove the revelry of their earlier efforts, especially given that they spent considerable time abroad in the US and Europe, as well as seeing their album released in Japan and the UK  and despite the onset of an organic hiatus in 2010 while frontman Geoffrey O'Connor paid attention to his solo pursuits.

Either way, that time apart has come to a close for now, and Crayon Fields once again take front and centre stage for the members, as we heard with recent new single She's My Hero, a welcome first taste of new goodness after six years of silence, and The Music is stoked to be hosting the premiere of Love Won't Save You to complement that previous work. Get amongst it below.

This is, of course, all leading up to the release of No One Deserves You on 25 September (via Chapter Music), after which Crayon Fields will be playing a couple of launch shows in Sydney and Melbourne in celebration — they hit Newtown Social Club on Saturday, 7 November (supports TBA), and Howler on Saturday, 14 November, with Totally Mild and Goon Sax.
