This year marks the 25th anniversary since the formation of US neo psychedelic band The Brian Jonestown Massacre and to celebrate, the San Francisco outfit have announced they will be heading to Australia this November for a national tour.

Since last touring the country in 2013, BJM's return also comes in support of their April-released record, Musique de film imaginé’ — their fourteenth studio album.

The tour kicks off on Friday 13 November at The Triffid in Brisbane, before the veteran group play shows at Hobart's Odeon Theatre, the Metro Theatre in Sydney and finally in Melbourne at a venue to be announced the following week.

To coincide with the Aussie shows, BJM are also releasing a limited edition numbered vinyl, entitled the bjm mini album complete with brand new tracks, which will only be available at the show venues.
