Australia's favourite psychedelic exports Tame Impala have announced they'll be heading to a set of outdoor amphitheatre stages this November, off the back of the acclaimed Currents record they released last month.

The Perth band have been gracing festival stages the world over this year — including Coachella and Governor's Ball in the States — but in a show of love for their homeland, the band will kick off their Australian tour in Melbourne on Saturday, 7 November, then head to the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Wednesday, 11 November, before playing Perth, Adelaide and finally, Brisbane, all in outdoor arenas.

Joining the band on all these dates will be L.A. trio Mini Mansions, with Perth's Koi Child also supporting in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.

Head to theGuide for full information on the tour — tickets go on sale Monday, 31 August at 9am.
