In support of their new film.

More Eminem More Eminem

They reunited on stage for the first time in 26 years last month, and it seems iconic hip-hop group NWA have got the itch to perform again.

Ahead of the cinema release of the US outfit's biopic Straight Outta Compton, the original members could possibly reform for a live tour in support of the film.

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley confirmed that the studio are trying to put together European tour dates for NWA, that would also see fellow US rapper Eminem join the shows as an honorary member.

"We don't have anything settled yet with everyone's schedules," Langley said of the idea, as Eminem will also feature on the film's soundtrack alongside Kendrick Lamar.

"But we think it can create a lot of buzz."

If the tour does come to fruition, it would also include Dr Dre who was absent at the group's reunion show at last month's BET Experience event in LA and it would be arguably one of the biggest music tours in recent memory.
