More The 1975 More The 1975

Indie pop band The 1975 sure know how to grab attention in style. First they inconspicuously removed all of their social media presence online, then returned with a sassy new pink logo and a typewritten letter that confirmed they were back to release a new album and tour in smaller venues so that only the "most dedicated" fans could attend.

The quartet are heading back to Aussie soil next January for a national tour — stopping by Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth between Sunday, 17 January and Saturday, 23 January.

Though the venues (Melbourne's Festival Hall, Sydney's Hordern Pavilion) are actually quite large, singer Matt Healy has stated, "Due to the size of the venues that we feel are appropriate for this particular tour and taking into consideration the humbling dedication that I have felt from a lot of our fans I predict that only the most dedicated fans will get tickets."
