Frenzal Rhomb drummer Gordy Forman has reportedly broken his arm during a gig at Perth's Amplifier last night.

Eight songs into their set, Forman stepped from behind the kit to take fans to task for some poorly executed stage dives that had followed the night's stage invasions.

Forman instructed the audience, “Pretty sure if you want to stage dive it’s simple, here’s the one, two, three dive. Stand up here….”

Forman then launched himself into the first few rows of the crowd briefly before being thrown upside-down back to the stage, catching his arm on a barrier support.

Witnesses report that Forman's left arm was visibly damaged as it snapped on the barrier. He was rushed off the stage by crew members.

Despite Forman's absence, the band proceeded to play on as a three-piece with frontman Jay Whalley donning the bass so bass player Tom Crease could take over drumming duties.

Referring to the recent Foo Fighters brush with onstage bone breakage, Whalley noted, ‘Take that Dave Grohl, now I don’t have to give any money back’.
