Congrats boys!

Melbourne funk five-piece Vaudeville Smash, made up of three Lucchesi brothers and two mates, have signed with Tokyo's P-Vine Records, and will release a compilation album through the label to celebrate their union with all things sushi, Nintendo and Astro Boy.

The compilation album will be titled Disco To The World and will home previous releases as well as two brand new 'uns from the boys, which they'll bring to Tokyo's Star Pines on 27 July for a launch party. The band will also head to Sapporo City Jazz Festival later this month for their third consecutive year.

Continuing their love affair with Japan, Tokyo's Inter FM will be premiering Richter Scale this month ahead of its Australian release, and they'll also film the video for the single while in the country.
