Aussie Hip Hop Group Score Third Consecutive Double Platinum Album

Adelaide hip hop trio Hilltop Hoods have struck gold (or should we say platinum) with their 2014 album Walking Under Stars, achieving Double Platinum status in Australia.

The huge achievement is not unheard of for the boys — this is actually their third consecutive Double Platinum album, following 2012's Drinking From The Sun and 2009's State Of The Art. Both 2006's The Hard Road and 2003's The Calling achieved Platinum status, too.

The album has also enjoyed its perch atop the ARIA Album Charts at #1 where it debuted, birthing singles Won't Let You Down, Live And Let Go and Cosby Sweater.

The group are currently prepping for their European tour next month, where they'll spend time at V Festival in the UK as well as Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
