Acclaimed UK mainstays Mumford & Sons have been riding high on the crest of the wave behind their third studio full-length, Wilder Mind, and now the tsunami is headed Australia way as news arrives of the band's plan to head Down Under for a handful of tour dates, including a very special all-day Gentlemen Of The Road event in Sydney.

Indeed, not content with only staging your standard A-list tour performance — of which there will be two anyway, at Brisbane's Riverstage on Saturday, 7 November, and Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Thursday, 12 November — Mumford & Sons have gone next-level, bringing an approximation of their wildly successful US/UK Gentlemen Of The Road pop-up festivals to Sydney for an all-day concert event at The Domain on Saturday, 14 November.

There, the folk-rock kings will be joined by a cast of esteemed contemporaries from both at home and abroad, with fly-ins including the likes of UK prodigy Jake Bugg, fellow Brits The Vaccines and US buzz act Future Islands, with the Aussie complement being made up by Brisbane-bred indie darlings The Jungle Giants (by that stage with new LP Speakerzoid in tow), Melburnian chanteuse Meg Mac, and long-serving, hard-working Queenslanders Art Of Sleeping. The Vaccines and Meg Mac will handle support duties at the Brisbane show, while Future Islands and The Vaccines will do the honours in Melbourne.

Meanwhile, the Wilder Mind cycle continues with the release of the band's new video for The Wolf, which went live online overnight and has already accrued a considerable number of views in the few hours it's been available.
