Electro Funk Duo Tuxedo Will Bring Their Grooves To The East Coast

Tuxedo are Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One, purveyor of disco, funk and all things dance-worthy — each Grammy-nominated in their own right, together they're bringing their explosive live project to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Cairns this September.

They'll kick off their tour with their self-titled album tucked into that sly inner pocket of their suits, heading to Prince Bandroom in Melbourne on Saturday, 19 September, Max Watt's House Of Music in Brisbane on Friday, 25 September, Sydney's Jam Gallery on Saturday, 26 September and The Salthouse in Cairns on Sunday, 27 September.

If you're not so familiar with the duo's work, the suave gentlemen combine live vocals, turntables, midi triggers and their pocket squares to create a catchy blend of electro funk you won't be able to get out of your heads.
