Alongside a bunch of popular Aussie talent.

More San Cisco More San Cisco

Port Macquarie's inaugural music festival Memory Lane was announced just last week and the event is quickly taking shape as the massive line-up has dropped today.

Headlining the all-ages festival on Sunday, 18 October is none other than WA-founded indie-pop act, San Cisco. Hot off the trails of their own national headline tour in support of their second studio album Gracetown, released in March this year, the energetic quartet will hit the stage as the main act in what is sure to be a memorable event.

Also joining the bill is Aussie rock band Stonefield on the back of the sister group picking up the 2015 APRA gong for Rock Work Of The Year. The group are currently working on their second record and just last month dropped the track, Golden Dream, the first song to be released since their collaboration with Spiderbait member, Kram.

Rounding out the line-up is Patrick James and Zefereli, as well as a handful of local acts including Bear In A Man SuitPlebeian Groove and Withernecks.

The festival, which is to take place in the laneway behind Port Central was picked specifically by Promoter & Director of MJR, Scott Mesiti.

"I've had my eye on this laneway for about 5 years, I just think it's a cool space and really think the towns youth could do with their own event." Mesiti said.

"Every time we put a venue show on we get asked by under 18's if they can come so we know there are kids out there that really want to see live music. Unfortunately they can't attend those gigs due to licensing laws so we thought we'd throw a Melbourne style laneway party with some great indie acts."

Tickets go on sale from 10am on Thursday, 9 July — for more information, head to the festival's Facebook page.
