More New Order More New Order

Long-serving UK rock outfit New Order have announced the forthcoming release of their 10th studio album, Music Complete, their first full-length release since 2013's lost sirens and the first to feature longtime keys player and guitarist Gillian Gilbert since 2001.

Gilbert departed the band following the release of Get Ready 14 years ago, but has made her way back to rejoin fellow founders Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris, with veteran player Phil Cunningham, to create the new 11-track album, which boasts cover art looking a little something (or exactly) like this:

Mmm, abstract.

Music Complete also marks the band's first output without founding bassist and miscellaneous instrumentalist Peter Hook, who keeps busy these days with his project Peter Hook & The Light and yelling at clouds, and will see release Down Under on Friday, 25 September via Mute and Create/Control. It will be available on CD, digital and limited-edition clear vinyl formats, with an exclusive eight-piece deluxe vinyl collection that includes the full album plus extended versions of all its tracks on coloured vinyl. Full on.
