More Splendour In The Grass More Splendour In The Grass

Always striving to be at the frontier of contemporary art, Splendour In The Grass has unveiled their eclectic arts program for this year's Splendour Arts, led by a meme-inspired inflatable cage housing your favourite Hollywood reaction face, Nicolas Cage.

Nicolas Cage In A Cage by Barcelona-based Hungry Castle aside, the program also features myriad performance works, installations and sculptures, such as You C*nt Stop The Music, a music mash-up held at Splendour's Tent Of Miracles taking you all the way back to the drug-addled, hippie days of the '60s and the rebellious teens of the '50s.

Treasure Mountain, a pastel-heavy, glittery frenzy of sculptural landscapes by Pip & Pop (or Tanya Schultz) will also be an unmissable aspect of the Arts program — featuring sugar, glitter, candy, plastic flowers and crystals, Schultz has exhibition her good-enough-to-eat landscapes around Europe, Asia and the UK.

Splendour In The Craft is back for another year, too; an opportunity for you to dust off your inner toddler for a slew of opportunities to play with hot glue guns, craft paper, pom poms and assorted fabrics for workshops running all weekend with Beci Orpin, Kitiya Palaskas, Fancy Free and more. All the workshops are free of charge and and you can do things like pimp your sunglasses, gum boots and make charm bracelets. Hell yeah.
