Leaps & Bounds Announce Free Outdoor Street Party

Leaps & Bounds have announced a free outdoor street party to coincide with the festival, boasting performances from Archie Roach, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks and more.

The four-hour street party dubbed Smith Street Dreaming kicks off at 1pm on Saturday 18 July in Collingwood, and will take place at the corner of Stanley and Smith Street.

Music from Archie Roach, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Coloured Stone and MC Aaron Pedersen will commence at 2pm after members of the community and musicians discuss the importance of the event which celebrates local music and shines a spotlight on Aboriginal culture.

The festival itself is set to consume more than 300 venues in The City Of Yarra for over two weeks, and its third iteration – proudly presented by The Music - will see The Scientists, Dubrovniks, Rocket Science, Spencer P Jones & The Escape Committee, HITS, The Pink Tiles and around 800 more acts do their thing from Friday 3 July, to Sunday 19 July.
