The fledgling event comes to town this September

The city of Sydney is set to welcome a new player on the festival circuit when the inaugural Electro Circus event takes over Rosehill Gardens this September with its troupe of more than 25 international and local acts across three stages.

Though the actual line-up is still being kept tightly under wraps, we do know that the first-ever Electro Circus festival — held on Saturday, 5 September — will boast all manner of audio-visual attractions, from state-of-the-art production quality to lasers and CO2 cannons padding the aural goodness on offer from some of the world's best international and local DJs.

A dance-music party with a difference, Electro Circus will feature the Big Top Stage, featuring bounce and electro tunes, the Trapeze Stage, which is all about bass and trap, and the Voodoo Stage, which ups the trance ante. Amid all the madness, acrobats, dancers and other performers will be keeping crowds wowed throughout the event. So, yeah, it basically fulfills the promise of its name with aplomb.

Line-up and ticketing details will be announced in the coming weeks, but for now swing the Electro Circus Facebook page a like and step right up to get ready for the big reveals in the near future.
