Brisbane's Grace tops Singles Chart

More Hermitude More Hermitude

Australian electro duo Hermitude have defied the odds and topped this week's ARIA Albums Chart after beating veteran US rockers Faith No More to the number one spot.

The boys fifth studio album Dark Night Sweet Light has been getting rave reviews and it was right in the mix during the mid week charts with Faith No More's first album in eighteen years Sol Invictus, but the local act has claimed the top spot, which marks their first number one record.

Faith No More took out second spot, while musical comedy soundtrack Pitch Perfect 2 dropped down a spot to #3.

Meanwhile, fellow Australian act Grace has finally claimed the #1 spot on the Singles Chart with her cover track, You Don't Own Me, dethroning Wiz Khalifa's See You Again which dropped to second spot after sitting on top for six straight weeks. It is the first Australian single to go to number one in 2015.
