Applicants can apply for the 2015 initiative

The Association of Artists Managers' (AAM) flagship Manager Mentor Program has returned this year and applicants can now apply for the 2015 initiative.

Since its inception in 2013, the program allows applicants to receive one-on-one mentoring sessions with an established artist manager for anywhere between 6-12 months.

There will be six available mentorships and for the first time this year, successful applicants will receive an all inclusive trip to Australia's premier music industry conference, Bigsound.

Flights, accommodation and a Conference Pass will be included for the Brisbane event in September and applicants will also get the chance to meet all of the mentors for this year's program.

David Hume, an AAM member of the 2014 program has spoken praises about the initiative, after he was mentored by Danny Rogers, founder of Lunatic Entertainment and manager to a slew of national and international talent including, Gotye, The Temper Trap and Scottish outfit, Chvrches.

"I was very lucky to have [Danny's] time in helping steer the ship in the right direction. If you're serious about being an artist manager for a career and have some good runs on the board already, I highly recommend the AAM’s mentor program" he said.

Applicants need to be AAM members, though they can join up when applying.
