Marlon Williams Looks To Crack Album Charts With Debut Record

Melbourne based singer makes waves with self titled album

Marlon Williams' self titled debut album was released last week to rave reviews. 

And it gets better for the New Zealand-born-Melbourne-based singer with news coming through that the record is set to crack the top 30 ARIA Album Charts this week.

It would certainly be an impressive achievement from Williams who only had only just started building some momentum last year after wowing crowds at the Queenscliff Music Festival — check out some exclusive performances he did for theMusic below!

Australian hardcore act Deez Nuts are also debuting their fourth studio album this week, Word Is Bond, which looks to hit to make an entry in the top 20 off the back of their recent national tour announcement in support of the new work.

Splendour headliners Blur are back with a bang with the release of The Magic Whip — their first album in twelve years.

The festival announcement, as well as a slew of national headline arena concerts has no doubt made the British quartet the band on every Aussie music fans lips as they look to make a top five entry on the charts this week.

Meanwhile after fellow English act, Ed Sheeran last week announced his own Australian stadium tour dates this December, his 2011 debut album +  looks possible to jump back and crack a top ten spot to join his 2014 effort, x in the charts. 

Aussie pop star Sia's latest single Big Girls Cry is also contender for the top 20 this week, after her promo visit to her home country last week — check out her amazing performances on Sunrise here

Expect to hear new tunes this week from NSW electro duo Hermitude feat. Mataya Young Tapz with their song, The Buzz as well Chris Brown's collaboration with producer, Deorro for the dance track, Five More Hours.
