More The Church More The Church

Venerated local outfit The Church have expanded their national run of shows this July with a detour to the island formerly known as Van Diemen's Land, as well as having been announced last week aboard this year's giant Splendour In The Grass festival line-up.

In addition to previously announced stops such as Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and more, The Church will now be bringing their dual-album retrospective tour — for which the band will play two sets each night, one each highlighting 1982 classic The Blurred Crusade and last year's acclaimed Further/Deeper full-length — to the Tasmanian capital of Hobart, to play the Hellenic Hall on Thursday, 9 July.

The band are now prepping for their appearance at next month's Primavera Festival in Spain, after which they'll return Down Under to light up local stages from Friday, 3 July, when they kick off their national sojourn at home in Sydney, at The Factory.

Tickets for the new show went on sale this morning, and are available via Oztix.
