Local Band Hammerhead To Open For Mötley Crüe In Brisbane

As far as support slots go, you’d struggle to find a better opportunity for a local band than opening for Mötley Crüe on their final Australian tour.

Local Brisbane rockers Hammerhead have reigned victorious among a number of other acts in their state in Triple M’s support band competition and now have the honours to open for Mötley Crüe and Alice Cooper at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 19 May.

The four-piece rock outfit formed in Tasmania, relocating to the Sunshine Coast, and have released four records. They submitted one of their tunes to Triple M last month, which was added to shortlist with other potentials, before being chosen by Triple M music director for the slot.
