Last year's cult Adult Swim short Too Many Cooks was an unexpected online sensation in the final months of 2014, its bizarre, drawn-out take on 1980s and '90s sitcom opening credits swiftly reaching legendary status among pop-culture nerds and masochists the world over.

Now, a YouTube user by the name of Alex Cohen has taken Too Many Cooks' central conceit of an overpopulated family-focused show and applied its 11-minute-long theme music to a montage of footage taken from fellow expansive dynastic drama Game Of Thrones. If you want proof that God is dead, Cohen has provided it on a platter with Too Many Kings.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, the combination works brilliantly, with Game Of Thrones' utterly gigantic cast providing ample fodder for the reimagining, even managing to make the song's thematic shifts (cop show, Saturday-morning cartoon, soap opera) align with some assorted appropriate clips from the show.
