""We now look forward to our next chapter with Universal Music Australia."

Starting from the ground up six years ago as a distribution label, WJO has since become a full-fledged record label, taking care of physical, digital, publishing, licensing and marketing all in-house.

The independently owned country music label has now announced they'll be forming a distribution partnership with industry masthead Universal Music Australia. WJO is currently home to British-born American Suzi Quatro among other mainstream artists.

WJO co-owners Will Osland and Drew Doran said of the announcement: "To have built what we have, completely independent, all in house, no middle men, on our own terms and with our own finances has been such an incredible experience.
