YouTube Comedian Lilly Singh Announces Australian Tour Dates

Regular YouTube watchers (and her 5.5 million subscribers) may know her as “IISuperwomanII”, but she’s known to the loved ones she parodies so often as Lilly Singh and the comedian is coming to Australia.

The young Canadian is fast-talking and altogether hilarious, drawing material for her comedy and sketches from her family, friends and life as a Canadian of Indian heritage.

For the first time, she’s bringing laughter, music and surprises on the flight over to Australia with her headlining A Trip To Unicorn Island tour. Where is this island, you ask?

“Unicorn Island is wherever you want it to be, whenever you want it there. It’s a place where it’s okay to be silly, dance in public, laugh out loud and hug strangers. It’s where our imaginations go to play and for that reason, anything is possible on the Island. Hate, ignorance and negativity don’t exist here. I mean, with the Cotton Candy bushes, Skittles Waterfall and Mushroom iPod Speakers, there’s just no room for anything crummy,” Singh explains.

The comedy tour taxis into Adelaide’s The Gov on Tuesday, 2 June and tours the capital cities, flying home from Perth’s Astor Theatre on Sunday, 7 June.
