The Irrepressibles, Pallbearer, The Preatures & More To Play Dark Mofo

The full line-up for this year's Dark Mofo event in Tasmania has been unveiled, with an eclectic mix of international and local artists announced.

We already found out earlier in the week that experimental art-pop outfit Antony & The Johnsons would be performing at the June festival, but you can now add the likes of British collective The Irrepressibles, American doom metal band Pallbearer, sludge metal duo The Body, Melbourne musicians Gareth Liddiard (of The Drones) and Brous and Sydney indie-pop favourites The Preatures to the program. 

Of course, music isn't the only feature of Dark Mofo, with arts at the forefront also and organisers have nabbed some interesting and impressive names for 2015. Marina Abramovic's Private Archaeology is one of the event's major exhibitions, while new precinct Dark Park, located at Macquarie Point, will play host to exhibitions from German engineer Bastiaan Maris, British artist Anthony McCall and Melbourne's Byron J. Scullin. 

Back again in 2015 is Dark Mofo Films, at Odeon Theatre, with a host of titles premiering as well as a special screening of new Foxtel series The Kettering, plus The Hothouse, Mofo's creative thinking forum. And everyone's favourite Nude Solstice Swim will also happen again in 2015 at sunrise, Monday, 22 Jun.
