While The Prodigy could land the biggest debut of the week

More Silverchair More Silverchair

Aussie rock luminaries Silverchair are set to re-emerge in the ARIA charts this week thanks to the 20th anniversary of their debut album Frogstomp.

The Newcastle-bred trio's LP is set to re-enter the ARIA Albums Chart in the top 20, according to midweek figures. The album, which was digitally remastered and re-released for its anniversary, peaked at one when it was first released back in April 1995. Silverchair disbanded in 2011, and recently, frontman Daniel Johns took the wraps off his long-awaited solo material

The highest debut of this week should come from English electronic outfit The Prodigy, who were recently in the country for Future Music Festival. The group's latest release, The Day Is My Enemy, is set to go top five, while current Aus visitor Ed Sheeran should fixture around the top spectrum of the Albums Chart too with his 2014 LP X.

An Aussie act to also keep an eye out for is recently reunited pop-punks Short Stack. The trio's new album Dance With Me, their first since 2013's Art Vandelay, could land in the top ten this week. Other debuts to keep an eye out for include the new Death Cab For Cutie (Kintsugi), Madeon's Adventure and the new Van Morrison compilation, Duets: Re-Working The Catalogue.

Singles-wise and the new Rihanna track, Bitch Better Have My Money could feature somewhere around the top songs of the week, though at this stage it is more likely that it will land in the top ten. Another debut to watch out for is the new track from current Ed Sheeran tour support, Conrad Sewell. The local singer-songwriter's latest anthem Hold Me Up is expected to crack the 50.
