The electro vets will release their new album through the esteemed US indie label this year

More Hermitude More Hermitude

Renowned Aussie electronic two-piece Hermitude have become the newest signing to respected US indie label Nettwerk Records, joining an ever-growing roster that is already home to fellow Aussies Boy & Bear and The Bamboos, as well as international acts Ladytron, Family Of The Year and Passenger.

Nettwerk celebrated its 30th birthday at the recent SXSW conference in Austin, Texas, and the commemoration is set to continue later this year with the global release (ex AU/NZ) of Hermitude's eagerly awaited new full-length, Dark Night Sweet Light, in association with local label Elefant Traks.

The news comes hot on the heels of the news that the lads will be embarking on a national album tour in June, following their stint around the country with the Groovin The Moo touring festival this month and next. Having just returned from SXSW and BUKU Music & Art Project, and with high-profile spots at Lollapalooza, the Governor's Ball, Lightning In A Bottle, Wakarusa and Counterpoint on the horizon, everything's looking up for Hermitude in the near future.
