Angus & Julia Stone, DMA's, Alison Wonderland & more have also been named for US festivals for later this year

Celebrated Australian acts Tame Impala and Chet Faker have beefed out their US festival plans for this year, having been named among the antipodean contingent set to strut their stuff at the impending 2015 Lollapalooza event in the United States, as well as San Francisco's Outside Lands Festival, this August.

Indie-folk sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone have also been named on both line-ups, as have Sydney upstarts DMA's, with Lollapalooza — whose wider line-up includes Paul McCartney, Metallica, Brand New, TV On The Radio, Twenty One Pilots, FKA Twigs and Death From Above 1979, among several others — also securing fellow Australians What So Not (sans ex-member Flume), Hermitude, Alison Wonderland, Sheppard, Peking Duk and Spookyland for its 31 July-2 August dates in Chicago.

Ascendant New Zealand outfit Broods will also attend Outside Lands alongside the four aforementioned Aussie acts on the bill, plus a contingent of international drawcards such as Elton John, Mumford & Sons, the no-longer-Australia-bound Black Keys, Kendrick Lamar, St Vincent, Billy Idol, First Aid Kit and more.

Tame Impala, Faker, the Stone siblings, Alison Wonderland and What So Not were all announced last month for this year's Coachella event, alongside veteran Aussie rockers AC/DC.
