A new mini-festival by the name of Magic Castle has been announced for Port Macquarie.
 
The festival, hosted by Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson, kicks off at 1pm at the Black Duck Brewery, 11 Apr. The line up includes a mix of folk, blues, rock, indie and hip hop, with eight bands and two DJs set to play. To top it off, there will also be tasty nosh offerings from XS and Fish Face Taco.
 
The event is a not-for-profit event, with Jamieson raising funds for a good friend who was injured in a motorcycle accident earlier this year.
 
Garage band Royal Chant will headline the festival with live performances by Pelican Itch, Roy Rose, Korzdahavoc, Whores 4 Pinot, Lords of Pinball, Aubergine and Quantum Soul.
