Sydney Comedy Festival Unveils Full 2015 Program

The laughs come to town from 20 April

This year's Sydney Comedy Festival was already looking pretty damn strong, with previously named headliners such as Noel Fielding, Stephen K Amos, Ross Noble and Jim Jefferies, who led the charge in last year's initial announcement, now being joined by a veritable army of stand-up luminaries from all around the country and the world.

With more than 180 shows on offer spanning genres from straight stand-up to musicals, sketches and improv, and with the usual ream of Gala events, children's shows and showcases, this year's Sydney Comedy Festival primary bill looks a little bit something like this:

That's not even beginning to consider the stage show contingent of Denis Carnahan's Rugby League: The MusicalThe Comedy Spelling Bee, The Naked Magicians, Erotic Fan Fiction, Theatresports World Cup and the eagerly awaited US production Thrilling Adventure Hour, an old-time radio-style live performance featuring several Hollywood guests.
