Be a part of her inaugural audiences in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane

Enigmatic Queensland-bred songstress Montgomery may have released her debut EP New Clear War in October of last year, but the mysterious, mononymous musician is actually yet to step out in front of a crowd — which, if you've heard the mature, ethereal strains found on her first release, might come as something of a surprise to you.

After all, it's not every artist that manages to carry such an assured air — or make headlines with Taylor Swift — in such early career stages, but now east-coast fans will have three opportunities in the near future to head out into the night and see how the singer-songwriter/producer measures up to the hype she's built for herself surrounded by the helpful air of anonymity: Montgomery kicks off her whirlwind tour at Sydney's GoodGod Small Club on Thursday, 7 May, and shoots down the coast to Melbourne to perform at Shebeen on Friday, 8 May, before wrapping up in her home state at Brisbane's Black Bear Lodge on Friday, 15 May.

Check out the official clip for her recent single — and the song that caught Swift's attention — Not Around, below.
