Aussie singer-songwriter Ben Lee has unveiled a new mixtape, featuring a host of guest collaborators.

Lee has released A Mixtape From Ben Lee via his new label home of Warner Bros. Records today through Bandcamp. The 11-track record features appearances from several US (where Lee's now based) and local artists including The New Girl TV star and singer Zooey Deschanel, veteran muso Ben Folds, Crowded House legend Neil Finn, Empire Of The Sun's Luke Steele and Sydney singer-songwriter Sally Seltmann.

The mixtape is serving a worthy cause too, with proceeds from its sales going towards the Q'ero Project, an initiative that assists the Q'ero people of Peru.

Of the mixtape and the new phase of his career, Lee said: "After almost 23 years in the music business I never presume to know what is around the next corner, and I certainly didn't see signing to Warner Bros. Records coming. The release of the mixtape project is a great milestone for me, as it has been in the works for over a decade. I’m looking forward to sharing the music with my loyal fans, as well as supporting one of my favorite charities, Inkarri, for their wonderful Q'ero Project."
