Soundwave Set To Return To One-Day Format In 2016

It'll be east-coast-only, too

Soundwave Festival is set to return to its previous format as a one-day festival, event promoter AJ Maddah has said.

Answering a user's question on Twitter regarding future plans for the festival, Maddah explained that Soundwave would be scaling back its operations to a single day in each city, and will be held over two weekends.

The tweet comes after Maddah previously revealed that the festival would not be returning to Adelaide next year following "pathetic" ticket sales in the city for this year's event, meaning Soundwave 2016 will officially be a one-day, east-coast-only proposition.
