New albums from Danko Jones, Twin Peaks, Dorsal Fins, The Gin Club and more
Danko Jones — Fire Music (New Damage/Cooking Vinyl)
Is this the album that will finally give the Canadian outfit the accolades they deserve? The Music's Brendan Crabb thinks it could be, rating the LP a four star effort "Here, punchy riff piles upon punchy riff, fist-pumping hooks are ever-present," he said of the collection. The Music's Album Of The Week.
Twin Peaks — Wild Onion (Caroline)
The Chicago rock four-piece have delivered another boisterous, jarring LP, one that The Music's Cam Findlay said pushes the band into "better-than-average territory", thanks mostly to its brave production. "This is lo-fi slacker garage noise at its finest," commented Findlay.

The Gin Club — Southern Lights (Plus One Records/MGM)
Often referred to as a folk-rock outfit, Brisbane's The Gin Club prove once again they are so much more on Southern Lights. "The Gin Club also prove that a lush and full sound can still rock," observed The Music's Pete Laurie of the record.
Dorsal Fins — Mind Renovation (Gripless/Remote Control)
The mega-ensemble led by Saskwatch's Liam McGorry get off to a "good start" with album number one, according to Cam Findlay. "Every track will throw you for a loop," he said.
