Doors will stay open during renovations

A statement has been posted on the Lansdowne's Facebook page confirming that the Sydney venue will suspend live band performances while they renovate.

However, contrary to initial reports, the statement points out that their doors will remain open during the renovation period: "While there are renovations only the bands will be off… Relax — we're not closing."

It was also stated that gigs will return to the venue, "And YES, there will continue to be live music after the renovations."

It was also announced that renovations have been delayed and that despite gigs having been cancelled from this week, there would now be live music back in the venue for "a few more weeks".
