Reports say one person was killed with another hospitalised.

Following a hit and run yesterday in LA that killed one and hospitalised another, rap mogul and co-founder of Death Row Records Suge Knight has reportedly been charged for murder.

Knight was on set shooting promo for NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton when the incident occurred, with his lawyer, James Blatt, confirming to NBC his client was behind the wheel.

The events took place after filming with producers Dr. Dre and Ice Cube had wrapped up for the day, and after fleeing the scene shortly after, Knight turned himself in to local police, who questioned him and then placed him under arrest for murder with bail of $2M, according to TMZ.

Details of the victims and exact motive have not been released yet.
