Gorillaz Co-Founder Confirms Reunion

Going on hiatus in 2012 following a falling out, Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett has confirmed via Instagram that the act will be making a return this year.

With old videos surfacing on their Facebook page over the past couple of days, Hewlett has uploaded new images of virtual members Murdoc Niccals and Noodle to his Instagram account.

A fan commented on one of the photos asking if this meant a reunion, to which Hewlett responded, "Yes Gorillaz Returns."

The other half of Gorillaz, Damon Albarn, has also been hinting at the chance of a possible reunion over the past few months, with an aim to produce a follow-up 2011’s The Fall.
