Ever wondered what Dune Rats gelato would taste like?

St Jerome's Laneway Festival won't just be dishing out some very good music when it kicks off this weekend — it'll also be serving up some pretty delicious ice-cream.

Yep, Laneway are giving punters something to satisfy their sweet cravings in the shape of musician-inspired ice-cream. Festival-goers will be able to buy Royal Blood, Dune Rats, Little Dragon and Connan Mockasin flavours, thanks to renowned gelato chain Gelato Messina.

If you're into your coconut, berry coulis and almonds, the Royal Blood flavour is probably a good option, though Dune Rats should do the trick if you're a fan of milk chocolate and pretzels. The Connan Mockasin is sounding pretty gosh darn delish too. It's made-up of peanut butter gelato with mocha custard and biscuits… nom, nom, nom. But caramel and chocolate lovers, we think Little Dragon might be for you 'cause who could say no to a caramel gelato with choc brownies and swirl combo, huh?

We're pretty hungry now so if you need a refresher on all things Laneway while we got eat, head to our dedicated Festivals tab.
