Calling all up-and-coming MCs!

More Hilltop Hoods More Hilltop Hoods

Applications are now open for the Hilltop Hoods $10,000 emerging artist grant that will see a hip hop or soul act get the chance to record an album.

The initiative, which is in conjunction with APRA/AMCOS, is aimed to assist the winner with all the costs that go with putting together and releasing their debut album.

Willing applicants can put forward their case for the prize by completing the necessary form (click here to access it), submitting three of their tracks in mp3 format using Dropbox and a press shot, logo where applicable. The competition closes Thursday, 3 Mar.

The winner will also receive legal advice from Media Arts Lawyers, a Zoo York clothing prize pack and a Love Police merch start-up kit.
